Hidden Corners Young Carers Theatre is starting in January 2010!!

Hidden Corners is a FREE drama group for young people aged between 12 and 18 years, who have a family member who has a mental illness; physical disability; intellectual disability; chronic illness; and/or alcohol or other drug issue.

When: Mondays 4:30pm to 6:30pm and the occasional Saturday, or a day during school holidays.

The group will be run once a week and it is hoped that it will be a fun and social group that will provide you with the opportunity to explore and express your experiences as young carers.  You will get the opportunity to be involved in writing and acting in a drama production, but if you’re not keen on acting, come along and help make the costumes and sets, or get involved in doing the sound and lighting!  If you’re interested, or you want to find out more information, give me a call on 6232 2456 or email me at laura.dawel@anglicarecg.org.au and we can meet up for a chat.  (I only work on Mondays, but please leave a message and I will call you back).
